Upcoming songbook and audio release from Fred Jonny Berg

In the deepest woods, Fred Jonny Berg finds an arena that never lets him down.
His literary works are based on philosophical and surreal thoughts about existence.

Taking a closer look at all his lyrics, one might find a trace of liberty throughout.

An essential part of Fred Jonny Berg's art is his acknowledgement of every man's free will and right to rule over his own life – without irrelevant intrusion into the private sphere. The documentary «Exhaling Music» tells of Berg's intense break with religion when he was 17. His childhood religion never followed him into adulthood. Having no political basis, Berg is nevertheless a huge advocate of the so called «Kardemommeloven» – a golden rule carrying liberalistic connotations.

Berg is currently occupied with a new music & philosophical piece of work in which he elaborates on how it is possible for arenas of "truth" like religion, socialism herein, and neo-moralism – being founded solely on irrational sentiment – to get such a powerful foothold in today's illuminated society. This happens despite the fact that wars keep repeating themselves worldwide, and despite the fact that we have a contemporary society already filled with degradation, violation, public interference and abuse of the individual - caused by the the above mentioned "truth" and its disciples.

Fred Jonny Berg - Biography

«Exhaling Music»

Burned book (1991)

In times of hardship, your intentions must turn into glaciers – this worries me
And certain people think life can offer them true meaning – this baffles me

Amazingly, I can breathe the air – bring harmonies together – this pleases me
Life lets me sense, and contemplate – without a single care

Maybe life is in tune – the years will welcome each day
Time has come to slow down – find consolation within – while Mother Earth is greeting a new-born day in the distance

Life offers you freedom and every right to argue – I've tried myself
I see too often that mankind must lower the sword – I did myself

Are we scared off by the people wearing the white collar – I was myself
Fanatical virus turns to dust if you are true to yourself

I will not yield under pressure – I cannot deceive myself
Holy scriptures will falter

When furious days rage outside – I turn my face towards nature – the mountains in sight for a while
